18c in the greenhouse, KAY. It's glowing with an amber brilliance again. Or a UFO has landed in the garden. There was rustling and unseen creatures scuttling about in the dakness when I crept up there half hour ago. Hopefully the plants will eat all the C02 up.
Clear, starry and calm. 10c now, after a productively dirty afternoon in the garden. Saw a few bees, and many dozy ladybird. However I'm a month behind. Plants that should've been out in April are just getting their act together. All good things come to, etc.
They'll be ok STU, as long as the Frost Monster stays away from now on in. If not your windowcills will be groaning under the weight as mine are.
Strawberries going like the clappers now.

It has cloudied up a bit now with only a few breaks. However in comparison to of late it's been a lovely day. The max was still below

And yes TRACEY. Message to self. I must remember to cover the tomato's when a chilly night is forecast. They looked very sorry for theirselves this morning.
You coming or going IANGEC (or neither).
The best part of the day now..well the warmest anyway. Very pleasant in light winds.

It'll do nicely STU. Although an extra 5ºc overnight would be better. Nice and toasty in the greenhouse this morning, but first time have used paraffin heater past April in the 8 years have had the 'house. Let alone have a roll of fleece on standby for stuff I can't possibly get in there. 13.5c here now and out of the breeze it's lovely. Drying the car and washing well with a light WNWrly although as with K and STU it's clouding up more. Need another 10c to be true bliss, PETE. No more, just low 20's, ta. But needing the high factor lotions nevertheless.
Please, no more frost. It's murderous at 8m asl. And I make myself nervous around paraffin, let alone my neighbours.
